Omaha, NE (June 14, 2026) – Rescue units were dispatched to the area of Interstate 680 and Mormon Bridge Road following reports of a collision involving two vehicles on Friday evening, June 12, around 05:01 p.m.
Fire and rescue crews from the Omaha Fire Department arrived and began assessing injuries at the scene. A 30-year-old male sustained a right closed femur fracture and was transported to Nebraska Medicine for trauma care. A 70-year-old female also suffered neck and back pain and was taken to Nebraska Medicine for evaluation.
A second medical unit was requested shortly after the initial response due to the severity of injuries. This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
