Stockton, CA (August 18, 2026) – Two semi-trucks and a white work truck were involved in a major wreck on August 16 on the northbound SR-99 near the SR-120 interchange.
The wreck was reported around 11:27 p.m. near the SR-120 east junction. Initial information indicated that a semi-truck and a white work truck were involved, while two other semi-trucks were later reported to be stopped on the right shoulder. One large truck was carrying a refrigerated trailer loaded with about 38,000 pounds of frozen food.
Emergency units found a vehicle on its roof blocking the No. 3 lane. Two occupants were still inside and had to be removed from the vehicle. A fuel tank on one of the large trucks was damaged and was leaking, creating an additional hazard in the travel lanes.
Debris was reported across all lanes, and the No. 3 lane was blocked while the vehicles were cleared. A tow truck was requested to remove the large truck from the roadway.
