Mayfield, NY (July 1, 2026) – At least one person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday evening on State Highway 30 at Sandhill Road in Mayfield. Emergency units were called to the roadway at approximately 8:39 p.m. after reports of the collision.
Traffic was controlled around the roadway while crews worked on-site. State Highway 30 was closed between County Highway 155 and Sandhill Road, while another crew slowed southbound traffic near Woods Hollow Road to help manage congestion.
A medical helicopter was requested to assist with the response, but it was later canceled. The number of people involved and the extent of their injuries have not been released.
