Fresno, CA (August 5, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash with injuries was reported on August 4 along southbound SR-99 just north of E North Avenue in Fresno.
According to dispatch information, a black pickup truck reportedly lost control while traveling at a high rate of speed, crossed the freeway, and struck a Kia, forcing it into the guardrail. Initial reports also identified a dark gray sedan, while later updates indicated a gray Nissan Maxima was among the vehicles involved. Debris was left in the roadway, and both vehicles came to rest on the right shoulder.
Emergency units were requested, and the crash was later classified as involving minor injuries. Dispatch notes indicated two vehicles were involved and that no air ambulance was needed. Those involved declined transportation to a hospital, according to the initial report.
