Commerce, CA (August 6, 2026) – A two-vehicle traffic collision was reported on August 6 along the southbound I-710 just north of Whittier Blvd in Commerce.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch information, the crash was reported at about 3:52 p.m. and involved a black Jeep Wrangler and a silver sedan. One of the vehicles came to rest in the center divider, while the other blocked the No. 1 lane, creating traffic delays.
Emergency units were sent to the freeway shortly after the report was received. A tow truck was later requested to remove the disabled Jeep from the roadway. The available information did not confirm whether anyone was hurt or taken to a hospital, and no names have been released.
