Cambria, CA (August 2, 2026) – A two-vehicle traffic accident resulting in injuries was reported on July 31 along State Route 1 near Burton Drive in Cambria.
According to dispatch records, the collision was reported at about 10:28 a.m. Initial updates indicated that both parties had minor injuries and were exchanging information as they prepared to leave. Emergency units were later advised they were no longer needed after those involved handled the situation themselves.
A later update noted that one of the vehicles, a red Mazda6, lost a wheel while attempting to leave the roadway and could not arrange its own tow service. A towing company was subsequently requested to remove the disabled vehicle.
