Bloomington, CA (July 30, 2026) – At least one person was hurt in a hit-and-run after a two-vehicle traffic mishap at Cedar Ave and 11th St on July 28. According to dispatch information, a black Toyota Tacoma and a white Toyota Corolla were involved near Ramirez Auto Repair at 11611 Cedar Ave.
Initial reports indicate the Toyota Tacoma left the roadway, crashed through the gate of the auto repair business, and struck several vehicles parked inside the lot. The driver of the Tacoma was reportedly found inside the truck and was initially believed to be asleep before waking up. Witnesses told dispatchers they saw the pickup swerving before the collision.
Emergency units remained at the property while arrangements were made to remove the damaged pickup. Dispatch notes also indicated the driver was possibly under the influence. The cause of the hit-and-run remains under review as investigators continue gathering information.
