Motorcycle Crashes and Impaired Driving Investigations
Motorcycle crashes can lead to serious injuries due to the limited protection riders have during collisions. Law enforcement agencies frequently investigate whether impairment, speed, or other violations contributed to crashes involving motorcycles.
Officials remind drivers and riders that operating any vehicle while impaired greatly increases the risk of serious accidents. Motorists are encouraged to make safe transportation arrangements and avoid driving if alcohol or drugs may affect their ability to operate a vehicle safely.
