Jackson, MS (January 23, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a traffic accident involving injuries on Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Ridgewood Road and Adkins Boulevard in Jackson.
The crash was reported around 4:03 p.m., prompting the dispatch of Engine 19 and Rescue 17 to the scene. Upon arrival, first responders found vehicles with damage and individuals needing medical attention. The number of people injured and the severity of those injuries have not yet been officially confirmed.
Fire and rescue teams provided on-site care while working to secure the area and prevent additional hazards. Traffic was impacted briefly as crews cleared the scene and initiated an investigation.
