San Leandro, CA (August 29, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Thursday morning, August 27, to a four-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 880 near the Lewelling Boulevard off-ramp.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch records, the vehicles involved included a gray Jeep, a white Nissan Altima, a black Toyota, and a fourth white vehicle that was not further identified.
The vehicles were reported on the right-hand shoulder following the collision. CHP later classified the incident as a crash involving minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
