Johnson County, MO (May 16, 2026) – Two people were injured on Friday afternoon after a Polaris Ranger overturned at the intersection of NW 1771st Rd and NW 100th Rd in Johnson County.
The crash occurred at about 5:15 p.m. on May 15. According to the crash report, a 2018 Polaris Ranger was traveling southbound when it began to skid.
Investigators said the skid caused the utility vehicle to overturn. During the rollover, the 18-year-old passenger from Kingsville became pinned underneath the vehicle and suffered serious injuries.
The passenger was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment. The 23-year-old driver, also from Kingsville, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the same hospital.
Officials reported the Polaris Ranger sustained minor damage and was removed from the scene by its owner. Still, authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, and more details will be released as soon as they become available.
