Kansas City, MO (January 15, 2026) – A motorcyclist was tragically killed Tuesday following a collision with a bus at the intersection of E 9th St and The Paseo in Kansas City.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the incident occurred, finding the motorcyclist with critical injuries. Despite efforts by medics to provide immediate life-saving care, the rider was pronounced dead on site.
Authorities have not released the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin. Witnesses reported the crash happened during normal traffic hours, prompting a swift response from Kansas City Police and fire personnel who secured the area and redirected traffic.
