Ijamsville, MD (July 22, 2026) – Actress Kaylee Hottle, known for her roles in the “Godzilla” film series, was killed after a single-vehicle crash in Ijamsville early on Tuesday morning, July 21. The crash happened shortly before 3 a.m., according to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said a 1995 Honda Accord was traveling on Windsor Road when it left the right side of the road and struck a culvert. Investigators said excessive speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash. Hottle, 18, was a passenger in the vehicle and was taken to a trauma center, where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver, a 19-year-old Frederick man, was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. Another passenger declined medical treatment at the scene.
