Geddes, NY (July 22, 2026) – A woman in her 60s was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of West Granger Road and South Terry Road in the Town of Geddes early on Monday morning, July 20, around 5:09 a.m.
According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash and found the woman suffering from a traumatic head injury and other injuries. She was taken to Upstate Downtown Hospital, where she remains in critical condition. The driver stayed at the scene, called 911, and provided assistance until emergency responders arrived.
The driver has been cooperating with investigators. South Terry Road was closed for several hours while the scene was processed and reopened around noon. This is a developing story.
