Knoxville, TN (January 18, 2026) – A motor vehicle crash resulting in injuries was reported Friday night near the intersection of Interstate 40 East and Western Avenue in Knoxville, prompting a coordinated emergency response.
The incident occurred around 10:14 p.m. on January 17. Engine Five and additional emergency crews were dispatched to the scene and coordinated response efforts via Pack Channel Seven.
Responders arrived to find at least one vehicle involved in the crash and individuals requiring medical attention. While the number of injured parties and the severity of their injuries have not been officially confirmed, medical personnel were seen evaluating those at the scene.
