Kutztown, PA (May 18, 2026) – A motorcycle rider was trapped following a two-vehicle roadway encounter on Saturday evening, May 16, near US-222 and Hottenstein Rd in Maxatawny Township. Emergency units were called to the intersection at about 6:36 p.m. after reports stated the motorcycle was down. One person was reported with injuries.
Crews worked to free the rider after entrapment was reported during the call. The people involved had not been publicly identified as of Monday, but the cause of the collision remains under review.
