LaGrange County, IN (January 7, 2026) – A devastating rollover crash on the Indiana Toll Road claimed the life of a Texas woman late Tuesday night and left another person hospitalized with injuries. The fatal incident occurred shortly before 11 p.m. on January 6 near the 120-mile marker in LaGrange County.
Authorities with the Indiana State Police reported that 45-year-old Neda Meketa of Haslet, Texas, was driving westbound in a box truck when the vehicle veered off the roadway into the median. The truck then overturned and came to rest on its roof.
Meketa died at the scene from her injuries. A male passenger traveling with her sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. His current condition has not been publicly released.
Investigators remained on scene for several hours documenting evidence and working to determine the cause of the crash. Factors contributing to the accident are still under review.
