What Risks Are Associated With Heavy Equipment Rollovers?
Heavy machinery, such as steamrollers, carries significant weight and a high center of gravity. When operated on uneven ground or steep slopes, the risk of tipping increases.
Traversing embankments can shift the balance of equipment, especially if the surface is unstable. A sudden rollover may leave little time for the operator to react.
Rollovers involving heavy equipment often result in severe injuries due to the machine’s size and force. Proper ground assessment and safe operating angles are key factors in reducing these types of incidents.
