Las Vegas, NV (April 1, 2026) – Northbound Interstate 15 near Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Starr Avenue reopened on Wednesday morning, April 1, after multiple crashes temporarily blocked traffic.
The first crash was reported around 8:34 a.m. when a white Tesla sedan stalled in the travel lane just north of Street, Rose Parkway. A grey Dodge pickup struck the Tesla, causing the truck to roll. Additional accidents were reported in the same stretch of freeway, though details on other vehicles or injuries were not released.
All lanes have since reopened, and traffic is flowing normally. Authorities continue to investigate the crashes.
Our thoughts are with those involved.
Understanding Multi-Vehicle Freeway Crashes
Crashes on busy freeways often occur when a stopped or slow-moving vehicle is hit by following traffic. High speeds reduce reaction time, increasing the likelihood of rollover accidents.
Multiple accidents in the same area can compound delays and create additional hazards for drivers and responders. Emergency crews prioritize clearing vehicles, providing medical care, and managing traffic to prevent further collisions.
