Las Vegas, NV (January 11, 2026) – A deadly crash involving a pedestrian shut down part of the northbound Interstate 15 on Saturday morning after a tragic incident near the Spring Mountain Rd exit.
Nevada State Police responded to the scene shortly before 8:35 a.m. on January 10 following reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle in active traffic lanes. The individual, whose identity has not yet been publicly released, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
Authorities have not confirmed how the pedestrian came to be on the interstate, and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. The driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with troopers.
