Imperial County, CA (August 29, 2026) – Emergency crews responded late on Thursday morning, August 27, to a two-vehicle crash near Dogwood Road and West Carey Road in Imperial County. The collision was reported at approximately 11:00 a.m.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch records, the crash involved two trucks, including a white Ram pickup and a work truck carrying sprinkler equipment. Pipes and a trailer were reported near the roadway after the collision.
One vehicle was partially blocking a southbound lane, and CHP later requested an ambulance. The incident was ultimately classified as a crash involving minor injuries.
A Dodge Ram was reported to have major left-front damage, and towing services were requested. By shortly after noon, the roadway was clear and the pipes had been moved to the shoulder.
