Springfield, MO (August 21, 2026) – One person was critically injured early on Thursday, August 20, after a BMW carrying seven people left Glenstone Avenue near Blaine Street. The crash happened at approximately 12:30 a.m.
The police said the car ran off the road, traveled along the sidewalk, and struck a utility pole. Three occupants were thrown from the vehicle.
One person was listed in critical condition. Four others were taken to a hospital and were reported to be in stable condition. The available report did not provide an updated condition for the remaining occupants. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
