What Can Increase Injury Risk in Two-Vehicle Crashes
Roads around schools and nearby neighborhoods, such as Northwest 29th Avenue, often carry a mix of local traffic and vehicles traveling through the area. When accidents occur in Lauderdale Lakes, emergency responders typically focus on helping the injured while managing traffic around the scene.
Two-vehicle crashes can result in serious injuries when the force of impact causes occupants to be thrown from the vehicle. Ejection may happen if doors open during the crash or if safety restraints are not used.
Vehicle speed, roadway conditions, and the direction of travel can also influence how crashes unfold. Damage patterns and skid marks often provide clues about how vehicles moved before and during the collision.
