Pettis County, MO (July 29, 2026) – Two drivers were hurt in a two-vehicle crash on northbound US-65 at Honda Road on Monday, July 27. The collision occurred at about 2:44 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an 84-year-old woman driving a 2023 Buick Envision was stopped in the center turn lane facing south before attempting a left turn. The Buick entered the path of a northbound 2026 GMC Sierra, and the fronts of both vehicles struck each other.
The 46-year-old man driving the GMC sustained serious injuries and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center. The woman driving the Buick suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the same hospital. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The Buick was totaled, and the GMC sustained extensive damage; both vehicles were towed from the roadway.
