Lemoore, CA (January 10, 2026) – A woman tragically lost her life following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of State Route 41 and Fremont Ave in Lemoore. Emergency personnel, including California Highway Patrol officers and medics, responded to the scene shortly after 9:45 p.m.
According to investigators, the crash occurred when a woman driving a 2019 Jeep Renegade eastbound on Fremont Ave entered the intersection from a stop sign and was struck by a 2013 Chrysler 300 traveling northbound on SR-41. The driver of the Chrysler, a man, had the right of way as there was no stop sign controlling northbound traffic on the highway.
The woman behind the wheel of the Jeep sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Chrysler and his adult female passenger suffered minor to moderate injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. The male driver was taken to Adventist Medical Center in Hanford, while the passenger was transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.
CHP officials stated that neither alcohol nor drugs appear to have been contributing factors in the crash. The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
