Lexington, KY (March 21, 2026) – A crash on Georgetown Road on Friday afternoon, March 20, left one person injured and caused a car to strike a local business.
The incident occurred around mid-afternoon when a two-vehicle collision forced one of the cars into Red State BBQ. One of the people in the car was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries. The extent of the injuries has not been released.
The restaurant has temporarily closed while crews assess the damage, and traffic in the area was backed up as police worked the scene. Authorities are reviewing the crash to determine how it happened.
