Why Rear-End Crashes Can Be Deadly
Rear-end crashes are common on busy roads and can become fatal when vehicles are traveling at higher speeds or if drivers are unable to brake in time. Collisions involving large, stationary, or slow-moving vehicles like utility trucks can cause severe trauma to the smaller vehicle’s occupants.
Factors such as distracted driving, weather, and visibility contribute to these accidents. Using seat belts, maintaining a safe following distance, and staying alert are key safety measures to reduce the risk of serious injury in rear-end collisions.
