Long Beach, CA (January 29, 2026) – A car accident near the intersection of Clark Ave and Atherton St on Wednesday morning left at least one person injured and prompted a coordinated emergency response from police and fire crews.
The incident took place around 10:28 a.m. on January 28 in the 90815 area of Long Beach. Police units were the first to report the collision and requested medical support over their secondary channel due to visible injuries at the scene.
Engine 7 and Rescue 13 from Long Beach Fire responded shortly after and worked alongside officers to assist the injured party. Medical personnel provided aid on-site and assessed the individual for further treatment. The specific nature of the injuries has not been made public.
