Lorton, VA (May 6, 2026) – A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday afternoon following a crash involving a dump truck on a major Virginia highway.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on May 5, along Richmond Highway near Armistead Road in Lorton. Emergency units from multiple agencies responded, including fire crews, ambulances, and a medical helicopter.
Investigators said the crash involved a motorcycle and a dump truck. The motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries. The dump truck driver was not hurt and remained at the scene to speak with authorities.
