Los Angeles, CA (January 21, 2026) – A person suffered an eye injury following a traffic-related incident on Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of 147th St and Virginia Ave, across from Walnut Ave in Los Angeles, according to dispatch audio.
The call came in around 2:18 p.m., prompting a response from Squad 3 and other emergency units. Once law enforcement secured the area, fire department crews were cleared to enter and provide medical assistance. Reports indicated the injured party sustained trauma to the eye, though the severity of the injury has not yet been confirmed.
It remains unclear whether the injury occurred due to a vehicle collision or another type of traffic-related circumstance. Authorities are continuing to investigate the situation and have not released additional details about those involved.
