Santa Rosa County, FL (August 27, 2026) – A 33-year-old Louisiana woman was killed after she was struck by an SUV on Wednesday morning, August 26, in Santa Rosa County.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol crash report, the woman was walking south on U.S. Highway 98 and crossed the left-turn lane into the eastbound inside lane. At the same time, a Navarre woman was driving east in the inside lane.
Officials said the Louisiana woman entered the inside lane, where she was struck by the SUV. The crash happened around 5:30 a.m.
