How Commercial Vehicle Collisions Can Impact Industrial Roadways
Crashes involving large vehicles such as street sweepers and tractor-trailers often lead to serious outcomes due to their size and weight. Industrial roads are commonly used by heavy trucks, service vehicles, and commercial equipment throughout the day.
When two large vehicles collide, the force of impact can cause major damage and increase the risk of injury. These crashes may also block traffic for extended periods, especially if debris or fuel spills need to be addressed before the road can reopen.
Industrial areas can have narrower lanes or limited shoulder space, which may make it harder for drivers to avoid hazards. Visibility, vehicle load, and stopping distance are also factors that can affect how these accidents unfold.
