Lubbock, TX (January 10, 2026) – A three-vehicle collision with reported injuries occurred on Friday afternoon on South Loop 289 in the westbound lanes near East 4th St in Lubbock. Emergency crews responded promptly to the scene and provided aid to the injured.
The crash took place at approximately 2:12 p.m. According to dispatch records, the vehicles involved included a gray Jeep, a silver sedan, and a third unidentified vehicle. First responders, including Engine 17, Engine 9, and Truck 17, were assigned to the scene and reported the crash blocking the middle lane of westbound South Loop 289.
