Why Multi-Vehicle Crashes Often Happen at Busy Intersections
Intersections are common locations for multi-vehicle crashes because traffic can move in multiple directions at once. Drivers may need to react quickly to changing signals, turning vehicles, and crossing traffic.
When multiple vehicles are involved, even a small mistake can lead to a chain reaction. Sudden stops, misjudged turns, or limited visibility can all contribute to these incidents.
Traffic volume also increases the chances of collisions. During busy times of day, drivers may have less space and time to respond to unexpected movements from other vehicles.
