How Failure to Yield at Intersections Can Lead to Severe Crashes
Intersections such as State Road 38 and County Road 400 East can create risk due to turning movements. When injury accidents are reported in areas like Madison County, crews often work to stabilize traffic flow while assisting those involved.
Failing to stop at a sign or yield the right of way can place vehicles directly in the path of cross traffic. These types of crashes often happen quickly and leave little time for drivers to react.
When impacts occur at intersections, the angle of collision can increase the chance of serious injuries. Vehicles struck from the side or front may sustain significant damage, especially at higher speeds.
