Napa, CA (July 28, 2026) – A serious motorcycle collision involving another vehicle was reported on July 26 at the intersection of SR-12 and N Kelly Rd in Napa County. Emergency units were called to the intersection at about 10:20 a.m. after initial reports indicated a motorcycle had collided with an unidentified SUV, leaving at least one person with major injuries.
Early dispatch information suggested the other vehicle may have run a red light before the collision, though that has not been confirmed. Reports also indicated a vehicle might have caught fire, but responders were initially unable to verify those claims. The injured motorcyclist was later taken to Queen of the Valley Hospital with injuries described as major but stable.
The intersection was blocked while emergency crews worked at the site. Dispatch records also noted that a gray SUV and the motorcycle were being processed for evidence as part of the investigation.
