Nicolaus, CA (August 30, 2026) – Two people sustained serious injuries after a two-vehicle accident occurred Friday morning, August 28, on Nicolaus Avenue near Warren Road. The incident was reported at approximately 6:43 a.m.
The Ford Bronco and the other vehicle sustained substantial damage in the incident. Rescue crews responded to the scene and requested towing assistance while authorities cleared the roadway. Both individuals were transported to Ridout Hospital for medical treatment.
One vehicle was reported to have severe rear-end damage, including damage to the rear axle, and additional equipment was requested to remove it from the scene. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a major-injury collision. We are thinking of those hurt and hope they recover soon.
