Sterling, VA (August 31, 2026) –A pedestrian reportedly lost their life after being fatally struck by a sedan Saturday night, August 29, on Route 7 near Palisades Parkway in Sterling, just after 9:15 p.m.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Shawneil Clarke Alexander, 24, of Sterling. Alexander was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the sedan driver remained at the scene following the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
