Prince George’s Co., MD (July 7, 2026) – A man died, and multiple others were hurt after a two-vehicle collision early on Monday, July 6, at Kenilworth Avenue and Creston Street in Prince George’s County. The accident was reported around 12:30 a.m.
The police said two vehicles were involved at the intersection. One driver, later identified as 40-year-old Anthony Butler of Washington, D.C., was pronounced dead.
All other occupants from both vehicles were brought to a hospital in stable condition. The initial report did not state how many people were injured.
Kenilworth Avenue was closed between Tuxedo Road and Creston Street after the crash, and drivers were advised to use other routes. Authorities continue reviewing what led to the fatal case.
