Eagle Bend, MN (July 7, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US Highway 71 and Abbott Street West left two women injured on Sunday afternoon, July 5, at about 3:13 p.m.
A 2023 Chevrolet Blazer was traveling north on US Highway 71 and attempting to turn west when it collided with a northbound 2008 Chrysler Town & Country. The Chrysler driver, 56-year-old Giselle Vanise Longtine of Detroit Lakes, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Astera Health.
The Chevrolet’s driver, 22-year-old Madison Lynn Olson of Beardsley, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the same hospital. A passenger in the Chevrolet, 28-year-old Tristen James Kamphake of Eagle Bend, was not injured.
