What Can Happen in a Three-Vehicle Crash?
Three-vehicle crashes can involve several points of impact and may develop quickly when traffic is moving through an intersection. The movements of each vehicle, traffic signals, roadway conditions, and spacing between vehicles can affect how a collision unfolds.
Vehicle damage can help show where impacts occurred and how the vehicles moved afterward. Witness accounts, photographs, and roadway evidence may provide additional details about the sequence of events. Medical records can also document the severity of injuries suffered by people involved in a crash.
