Oklahoma City, OK (August 23, 2026) – A 32-year-old man succumbed to his injuries on Friday night in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 40 near North Cimarron Road in Oklahoma City. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported the incident shortly before 9:30 p.m. on August 21.
Troopers said Skyler Scott Burditt was driving west in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 when his vehicle left the roadway. The vehicle struck a concrete barrier and rolled twice. The available information does not provide additional details about what caused the vehicle to enter the wrong lanes.
