Grant County, WI (August 23, 2026) – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call on Friday, August 21, about two children who were injured when a Polaris UTV rolled over on Diamond Grove Road south of County V. The incident happened at approximately 1:32 p.m.
Deputies said a boy was driving the UTV with a girl as a passenger for agricultural purposes when the vehicle began sliding while traveling downhill. The UTV rolled once, ejecting the boy while the girl remained inside. The boy was taken to Grant Regional Health Center with life-threatening injuries before being flown by UW-Med Flight to a Madison hospital.
The girl was transported to Grant Regional Health Center with suspected injuries. The incident remains under investigation, and additional details may be released as they become available.
