Council Bluffs, IA (July 3, 2026) – One person was injured on Thursday following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 40th St and Broadway in Council Bluffs.
Council Bluffs Police and Council Bluffs Fire & Rescue responded to the scene with Engine 21, Truck 22, and Medic 2 after receiving reports of the crash. Initial information indicated the collision involved two vehicles and resulted in a fluid leak on the roadway.
A male involved in the crash reported pain in his forearms. The extent of his injuries has not been released, and authorities have not disclosed whether anyone else was hurt.
Emergency crews worked to secure the scene, address the fluid leak, and assist those involved. Additional details regarding the cause of the collision have not been released, and the incident remains under investigation.
