Osceola, NE (July 21, 2026) – A fatal morning collision involving a truck and an ATV claimed the life of a person on Monday, July 20. It happened shortly after 6 a.m. when a pickup truck and ATV collided on Highway 92 East of the F Road intersection in Polk County.
According to officials, the pickup truck was traveling eastbound behind the ATV when it struck the ATV from behind. The ATV driver, 70-year-old Randy Johnson of Osceola, was ejected during the crash. He was taken to Annie Jeffrey Memorial Health Center in Osceola, where he later died from injuries sustained in the collision. The incident is actively being investigated by deputies.
