Tama, IA (July 21, 2026) – Two minors were hurt after an SUV and an electric motorcycle were involved in a collision near Seventh St and McClellan St in Tama.
Emergency units arrived at the intersection and took both injured minors to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials said Juanita Lorenzana, 36, of Tama, was charged with driving without a license following the crash. No additional information about the people involved or the extent of the injuries was immediately released.
The police are also asking anyone with surveillance camera footage from the surrounding neighborhood to come forward, as investigators continue gathering information about what led up to the collision.
