Atlanta, GA (August 10, 2026) – A man was killed on Saturday, August 8, after being struck by a vehicle while walking on Moreland Avenue near Key Road in DeKalb County. Investigators said he was not in a crosswalk when he was hit along State Route 42, where the area was poorly lit.
The police have not released the man’s identity. Details about the vehicle involved and its driver were also not immediately available. The accident is actively being investigated.
