Why Rear-End Crashes Can Cause Injuries Even at Lower Speeds
Rear-end crashes are among the most common types of roadway accidents and can still result in injuries depending on the force of impact and the position of the vehicles. Drivers and passengers may experience injuries from sudden movement during the collision, even when vehicles have safety features such as seat belts and airbags.
Factors such as traffic conditions, following distance, visibility, and driver attention can affect the likelihood of a rear-end accident. Vehicle damage can also vary based on the size, speed, and angle of the impact. Reviewing these details can help explain how a collision happened and what conditions may have contributed.
