What Risks Are Linked to School Bus Crashes Involving Other Drivers?
Roads like Cobb Parkway often carry heavy morning traffic, especially during school commute hours. When large vehicles like buses share the road with regular traffic, sudden impacts can affect multiple passengers at once.
School buses are designed with safety features, but crashes can still result in injuries, particularly when another vehicle strikes them with force. Children may be more vulnerable due to their seating position and movement inside the bus.
Driver behavior is a key factor in these incidents. Impaired driving, distraction, or failure to maintain distance can increase the risk of crashes involving buses and other vehicles on busy roadways.
