Marlboro, NY (January 11, 2026) – A motor vehicle accident with reported injuries occurred on Saturday along Route 9W in the 1100 block near Marlboro, prompting a response from local emergency crews.
The crash took place sometime on Saturday afternoon near 1191 Route 9W and involved at least one vehicle sustaining significant damage. Witnesses reported that the vehicle veered partially off the roadway before coming to a stop near a residential driveway. Marlboro Fire and Rescue personnel arrived quickly and began rendering aid to the individuals involved.
Medical crews treated at least one person at the scene for a variety of injuries. That individual was transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation. At this time, the extent of the injuries has not been made public, but officials confirmed that the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
Traffic was temporarily slowed in both directions along Route 9W while responders worked to clear the scene. Tow services were requested for the damaged vehicle, and the roadway was fully reopened within an hour of the crash.
